Descriptive statement of the structure

This model is a kinetic roof structure in response to human action within the space, which demonstrate the interaction between the shoppers and the shopping environment.
The 39 rods hanging over the ceiling, diving into 3 rows, response to the shoppers walking inside the store. The rods move in a wave rhythm driven by sensors on the floor that detect the presence of a moving person. When a person is detected by any of the 5 sensors on the floor,  the rods hanging above the person will move in a wave rhythm, which act as a kind of attraction inside the shop, as well as moving the air current in some point. When there are more people walking around the space, more sensors will be triggered at the same time which makes the rods to move in a faster speed.
This structure enables unengaged people within a space 'participate' in an embedded interaction inside a shopping environment.
